Well its been quite an interesting month in the internet marketing world and quite frankly I’m not surprised these 2 big names clashed over the past week. These once close friends are now what seems to be big enemies and I don’t think anyone really knows why. What happened behind the scenes to have such a big dislike for each other ? Earlier this week Jon (Admin) from Wickedfire.com posted his thoughts on the famous Jeremy Schoemaker aka Shoemoney from Shoemoney.com

Here’s ( John Chow, Shoemoney, Super Affiliate Mindset Camels ) the First thread that Jon posted on Wickedfire.com. Not only does he take shots at Shoemoney, But he calls out John Chow and Amit from Superaffiliatemindset.com. Even after receiving a C&D letter From Shoemoneys lawyer he didn’t remove it. Jon claims Shoemoney has been lying about everything from the beginning. From his famous Google Adsense Check to the Auctionads stats  he sold the site with. So what do you think? Who do you believe? there are quite a few things that grab my attention but I’m in no way saying that Jon or Shoemoney is right here. I don’t have enough evidence for either ones side so I’m just letting you guys know what was said. I personally like Shoemoney and Jon so dont take this the wrong way. At the end of the day its all news.

Well i decided to dive into a new project this past week with the start of a new forum. I was pretty excited and It just so happens to be a forum dedicated to SEO (Search Engine Optimization ). The forum URL is SeoModz.com and i hope to have this forum booming soon.

I decided to start this project for several reasons. With SEO forums popularity getting bigger every year i didn’t want to lose any more time in getting it started. I’ve been wanting to have a forum just about SEO (Don’t know why lol). Now let me be completely honest about my knowledge of SEO in general. I am definitely no expert on the subject, but i do know more than enough to start a community. I have read quite a few books as well as trial and error with it on hand over the past 5 years. Plus my bigger thing with it is I know how to run a successful community and thats the most important thing to me. The rest can come with time and new members that know more or different parts of SEO (aka Google optimization) than I do. since the whole meaning of a SEO community is to learn together, I’m sure well do great.

I hope to share my experience on how this community grows and how ill be monetizing it to generate income. I have several ideas for the forum and they will be incorporated as soon as possible. Feel free to join and ask all the questions you might have on SEO as thats what the community is for. I have also uploaded some really cool SEO ebooks for everyone to read and get started. Today I wanted to talk about a forum I have started to frequent lately called WebTalkforums.com . WTF (for short) is a great source of resources when it comes to the webmaster niche. You’ll get real help and support from the members at WTF with nothing expected in return. I’ve been a loyal member for about 3 months now and I find myself going back more often than the bigger webmaster forums.

They really value their members and listen to the things they have to say. Earlier this month i gave my 2 cents on a particular subject related to the management of the forum and how they handle things. And although we didn’t see eye to eye on few of the matters , They didn’t just tell me to blow off or that my input was unnecessary. Instead they listened to me and the whole staff chimed in on what they felt on the situation. prettycool!

That goes to show me they really don’t want to just rule you with an iron fist. Most forums really wont care what you have to say and just ignore you. So thats definitely a plus in my book on forum management.

So lets analyze WTF together shall we…

Design: They just so happen to have had a redesign for the forum in the last few days and I think they did a great job. The color scheme is almost the same as before but with a few little tweaks here and there . The forum flows very nicely and i don’t think theres a topic unsupported on WTF.

Structure: The structure is great, (although i feel the Web Talk Information should be at the bottom) it looks really good and goes with the regular structure of most webmaster forums.

Staff: The staff is really great at running WTF and my hats off to them. I See them to be the best part of the forum (as well as the members lol) and can assure you they will be a major resource for webmasters in the near future.
Overall: a great forum to learn and meet new webmasters to build with. I recommend everyone register and become members as you’ll see what I’m talking about. Heres a link to join the forum and get started. Good luck
