I’m not sure how many bloggers actually have this installed but its a great way to encourage guests and registered users to post comments on your blog. What this plug in does is remove the regular nofollow attribute WordPress comes installed with.

I just recently added this to Gasmoney , So YES we do give link backs to our visitors and members (So get posting! lol) . By doing this you let your readers know you want to help them grow in the link department as well as get their own brand out there. A small little reward for helping you get good discussion on your blog.

DoFollow 4.0

This is a plugin for WordPress. It will disable the automatic rel="nofollow" attributes added to external links. You may want to do this if you have good spam filtering for your comments, or if your blog is moderated.

Optionally you can also set a comment age limit for adding the attributes, or have them removed differently from comments left by registered users and other visitors.

Pingbacks and trackbacks are just different types of comments in WordPress. This plugin will take care of all of them. You can also choose not to remove rel="nofollow" from some types of comments.
