5 Reason you may leave a Blog
OK today I wanted to touch base on several reasons why may you leave a blog. Every blogger is always on the hunt to increase their RSS subscribers (obviously) . So finding out how not to lose members should definitely be up in the top 5 things to do on their blog. So lets list 5 reasons why people leave blogs.
1.) Low RSS subscribers
Feedburner has a cool little chicklet that shows exactly how many RSS subscribers you have. People see your low RSS widget and don’t think they need your information. People are like sheep, They don’t like to be the first ones to join anything. So if you happen to have a low RSS count? just keep it to yourself for now until you get to about 50 - 75.
2.) Nothing but Ads
If you have nothing but ads on your blog, then your blogging just to make money and thats not going to get you anywhere. People tend to see notice that and right away brand you as nonsense money chaser. The next time they think of your blog or see it, they’ll just go with they’re last thought which wasn’t good at all , “Nothing but ads, nothing good to read”.
3.) No good content
When you don’t have good content? its hard to keep anyone to come back and read what you have to say. People think just by setting up a blog and adding adsense that they’ll be getting rich in no time. No way! You need to go around the web and look for good information if not create it from your own personal experience. Try to speak on things your doing as this what your readers want. I’m sure you’ve heard content is king so try to live by that on your blog.
4.) Copy cat posts
If your a copy cat, then blogging might not be the right place for you. People in your niche will know and see the pattern of you copying posts and just changing a few things around. Try to keep your content original and clean. Remember its very rare that something big hasn’t already been posted by another blog. So instead of just posting the story and letting people know about it, try to give your opinion on the information and see if you can get people to debate with you.
5.) they don’t Reveal as Much as Possible
Bloggers want to know as much as possible. So when you leave things to where they have to guess or its just blurry on what your talking about? they have no reason to come back. Give as much detail as possible on anything that your doing. If you can offer content that’s usually private - trade secrets, pricing, contract issues, and even the occasional harmless rumor, your blog can benefit.
Give me your reason why you leave certain blogs and don’t look back. I’d like to hear what you guys have to say. If you disagree with this post or want to add to it then do it with a comment.

I have only just released figures of my rss count at 110 and that is because im now in a RSS contest otherwise I was going to wait until I hit 200!
110 is a good number and waiting til 200 would of been better if you could of hung in there. But winning a contest is a good reason for jumping the gun. good luck!
