Giving AddToll a run! Do you use em?

Today i was browsing the affiliates i haven’t added to my blog and decided to give Adtoll a go. With all the good things I’ve heard about them i found it weird that it took me this long to set them up. AdToll is basically an All in One Advertising company. You can buy and Sell the traffic and exposure you need for what ever company you may have.

I decided to take the roll of the publisher and Advertiser all in one step. Not only did i set up Gasmoney Dot Net , But i went ahead and bought an Ad spot on Shoemoney.com. For just $20 a week , I’m sure i don’t have to tell you what a steal that is. Now back to the account set up.

Once you get your account activated and your account manager assigned, Its pretty easy to start adding your groups. I think it took me about 5 minutes to fill everything out and get going with the code on my blog. It really i easy as 1 2 3!

The good thing about Adtoll is not only do they sell your advertising space for you, But they have a pretty good referral program.(Sign up and give it a go!)

  • 20% commission on profit made from Advertisers (90 day period); and
  • 10% commission on profit made from Publishers (365 day period).

Heres how my my site looks in the AdToll Directory.

Heres how the ad looks on my blog. It really blends in nicely with the other ads and I’m sure I’m going to forget that its even there. My hats off to the people at AdToll for creating a great service.

5 Reason you may leave a Blog

OK today I wanted to touch base on several reasons why may you leave a blog. Every blogger is always on the hunt to increase their RSS subscribers (obviously) . So finding out how not to lose members should definitely be up in the top 5 things to do on their blog. So lets list 5 reasons why people leave blogs.

1.) Low RSS subscribers
Feedburner has a cool little chicklet that shows exactly how many RSS subscribers you have. People see your low RSS widget and don’t think they need your information. People are like sheep, They don’t like to be the first ones to join anything. So if you happen to have a low RSS count? just keep it to yourself for now until you get to about 50 - 75.

2.) Nothing but Ads
If you have nothing but ads on your blog, then your blogging just to make money and thats not going to get you anywhere. People tend to see notice that and right away brand you as nonsense money chaser. The next time they think of your blog or see it, they’ll just go with they’re last thought which wasn’t good at all , “Nothing but ads, nothing good to read”.

3.) No good content
When you don’t have good content? its hard to keep anyone to come back and read what you have to say. People think just by setting up a blog and adding adsense that they’ll be getting rich in no time. No way! You need to go around the web and look for good information if not create it from your own personal experience. Try to speak on things your doing as this what your readers want. I’m sure you’ve heard content is king so try to live by that on your blog.

4.) Copy cat posts
If your a copy cat, then blogging might not be the right place for you. People in your niche will know and see the pattern of you copying posts and just changing a few things around. Try to keep your content original and clean. Remember its very rare that something big hasn’t already been posted by another blog. So instead of just posting the story and letting people know about it, try to give your opinion on the information and see if you can get people to debate with you.

5.) they don’t Reveal as Much as Possible
Bloggers want to know as much as possible. So when you leave things to where they have to guess or its just blurry on what your talking about? they have no reason to come back. Give as much detail as possible on anything that your doing. If you can offer content that’s usually private - trade secrets, pricing, contract issues, and even the occasional harmless rumor, your blog can benefit.

Give me your reason why you leave certain blogs and don’t look back. I’d like to hear what you guys have to say. If you disagree with this post or want to add to it then do it with a comment.

Do you use SocialMarker.com ?

It can be very time consuming when your blogging and multi tasking with about 30 other things on your plate. So I was wondering how many of you actually have a easy way to social bookmark your posts. The site I’m talking about is Socialmarker.com .

SocialMarker makes it real easy to submit to over 32 of the best social bookmarking sites in under 15 minutes!

  • It helps you get a lot of back links.
  • It helps you increase your traffic.
  • Your link gets indexed by Google in a matter of minutes.
  • Best of all, it’s free!

with this little widget under your posts you can make it easier for everyone to send your link to all of their own favorite bookmarks as well , not just your own.

We know there are several other paid scripts like this one but you can’t pass up the FREE option this bad boy brings. Plus its very well coded and if your not using it , i suggest you do as its a time saving tool.

SEOBook.com Review - Do you have your copy?

For those who don’t know who Aaron Wall is let me tell you a little about him and what he does. Aaron Wall is the owner of the famous blog named Seobook.com. Hes considered as on of the masters of SEO on the web today. With his ebook online since December 2003, he has helped several sites and companies with marketing tips, search analysis, traffic evaluation, and countless other things to optimize their online presence. His ebook has been revised nearly over 50 times since then.

The SEO Book covers everything, and I do mean everything, there is to know about search engine optimization. The SEO ebook is Currently 328 pages long and a very good read if you ask me. Why pay someone or a company for that matter hundreds of $$$ to do your SEO work for you when you could easily just pay $79 to do it your self. Not only is this the best way to make your business better , but its a way to get one step closer to being a complete online success ( And a big step at that!).

The SEO eBook has A LOT of information – way too much for me to summarize in this review. Even Aaron’s own summary took 22 pages long (in his ebook) so i wont be doing that today. The SEO Book covers everything I have done on my blog and other sites to increase their search traffic.
seo-book-new.jpgA great feature about the SEO Book is the free lifetime updates. As the search engine game changes, and it always changing, you’ll be completely up-to-date. Now how important is that?

The SEO Book sells for $79 and comes with an unconditional 90 money back guarantee. If the SEO Book is not for you, send Aaron an email and he’ll give you all your money back, no questions ask. Is it worth it?I’m sure i don’t have to answer that for you but, Damn right it is! If you can’t make the $79 back after reading this book, then honestly, you’re beyond help. Return the book and get your money back.
